Sawmill Lake 16 miles east of Spooner on Hwy 70, 2 miles south on CTH B, 5 miles east on Birchwood Fire Lane; primitive camping, 25 sites with tables and fire rings, no electricity. Dock, open shelter, vault toilets, hand pump for water. $6 per night. For more information call (715) 635-4490.

Totogatic Park west of Minong on Hwy. 77, then on CTH I, on Totogatic Flowage (10 miles), 69 sites with electricity, $15 per night; 6 sites without electricity $10 per night; water, firewood, flush and vault toilets, dumping station; boating, swimming, fishing for northern, walleyes, bass and panfish; picnicking. Trego Town Park Trego Park Road, just north of Trego, off Hwy. 53, on the Namekagon River, 50 sites with water and electric; showers, firewood, flush toilets, swimming, picnicking. $21 per night and $5 for electricity. Call (715) 635-6075.

City of Shell Lake Municipal Park off Hwy. 63, in city on Shell Lake, 42 sites; electric and water hookups, next to public swimming beach and park area with supervised swimming, playground and basketball court, showers and restrooms, dump station, boat access. $22-25 per night, $132-150 per week. Doolittle Park North of the Village of Birchwood on Hwy D on Birch Lake. 40 sites; electricity, flush toilets, showers, dump station, swimming, firewood, boat docking, playground, picnicking. $20 per night. For more information, call

Chicog Town Park - Southwest corner of Chicog Lake off Chicog Lake Road. Public Lake access, picnic grounds, swimming, camping.

COUNTY PARKS and PICNIC GROUNDS

City of Spooner, Veteran's Memorial Park. 

 Adjacent to the world's largest Muskie hatchery, picnic tables, fishing pier, boat launch, parking area, bathrooms, on the Yellow River Flowage, on US Hwy. 63 just south of Hwy 70. Watch for the Flags across the bridge.

City of Spooner, College Street Park, Spooner. North of high school, picnic tables, shelter, bathrooms, playground equipment, baseball field, T-ball field, basketball hoops, warming house, winter skating rink, beautiful walking trails that double as lighted cross country ski trails in winter. Turn north off Elm Street onto College Street go to parking lot at end of street. See city map.

North School Park-(on Elementary School grounds) baseball and softball fields and soccer field.

Thompson Baseball Field- Thompson Drive and Indianhead Trail. Baseball field.

City of Spooner, Centennial Park, Spooner. Corner of River and Walnut Streets. Grab a cup of coffee or a sandwich from one of the downtown shops. Great spot for people watching while sitting on a park bench or picnic table.

City of Spooner, Dale, Vale and Walnut Streets Park, 3 blocks straight west of downtown on Walnut Street. Park with picnic tables and playground equipment.  See city map.

Trego Town Park Trego Park Road, just north of Trego, off Hwy. 53, on the Namekagon River.

Wayside on US Hwy. 63, between Earl and Springbrook, picnic tables, bathrooms by Namekagon River.

Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Wayside. On Hwy 53 south of Hwy 70 across from the Cemetery entrance. Information Center and Rest Rooms.

City of Shell Lake Municipal Park, Downtown Shell Lake, on Hwy 63 and water's edge. Public campground, swimming beach, picnic area, boat launch, fish cleaning station.

City of Shell Lake Recreational Park, south side of Shell Lake off Hwy 63. Tennis courts, playground, softball field.

Minong Town Park, located at the north end of Bass Lake on Lake Rd. boat landing.

Chicog Town Park

City of Minong, Link Street. Area youth Baseball field. 

City of Minong, Corner of Fifth and Main streets. Josiah Bond Park.

City of Minong, South of Village Hall, Ball field.

City of Minong, Children's trout pond. North of DNR ranger station off Hwy 77.

City of Minong, Second Street Little League park.

Village of Stone Lake Park, West of Stone Lake Village on Hwy 70, then south on Golden Pond Road to Spring Lake.

Village of Birchwood, Doolittle Park and Campground. Hwy D north of Birchwood on Birch Lake. Swimming beach, playground.

Village of Birchwood, Bluegill Village Park, Main Street, picnic area.
