*APR. 7-8, 2017 *IRPC Gun Show - Indianhead Rifle & Pistol Club will host its 31st annual IRPC Gun Show on Friday and Saturday, April 7-8, at Spooner High School. Hours will be 6:30pm-9pm on April 7 and 8am-4pm on April 8. Visitors to the gun show can buy, sell, or trade firearms, from handguns to shotguns to rifles. There are four different age groups for the easter egg hunt: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7 and 8-10 years old with a grand prize for each age group.

*APRIL. 19, 2014 *Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Breakfast - Miss Shell Lake Royalty will be serving up pancakes and sausage with a beverage at the Shell Lake Community Center from 8-10am. A fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt with prizes for ages 2-10 will take place at the Shell Lake Municipal Campground at 10 am. Cars will be registered at 11:30am and the checkered flag will drop at 12:30pm on April 15th, 2017 at the Shell Lake Community Center. There will be stock (5 OZ) and outlaw (8 OZ) classes with awards and a best in show award. Concessions will be available and a Silent Auction, Sponsorship Races and Head to Head Races will add to the fun of the day. Even if you aren't a runner come on down grab something to drink and a bite to eat, all of the food proceeds will go towards benefitting Spooner Area Youth Hockey Association (SAYHA). October 14, 2017 *5K Zombie Run-Join us for a cryptic, fall evening 5K Zombie Run that will take runners through the haunted woods of Spooner! But beware of what's around the next bend...you may have to run for your life!! All racers will be required to sign and turn in a waiver before participating. 5K Zombie Run participants are encouraged (but not required) to dress up in their scariest zombie attire. While registration is on an individual basis, ravers are encouraged to run with friends (you may need a hand to hold!). Water stations will be located at the approzimated half-way point and at the finish line. The course will be clearly marked. The course terrain will contain paved trail and road/sidewalk.
